The students of Tipu House organized, planned and executed a Continental themed food festival on the 17th and 18th of October 2014. This food festival was aptly named “Bon Appétit”.

The dining room was setup in a minimalist and formal style reminiscent of the prevailing contemporary trends. Tasteful watercolours executed by the Tipu House students adorned the walls dining room. The tone for the evening was set by the selection of Italian and French music being played. O Sole Mio, Azzurro, J’attendrai, La Mer, Ne Me Quitte Pas were some of the classics which were much appreciated by the guests.
The beverage menu, though limited, featured a Spanish favourite – Sangria. This famous drink was very much in demand considering the sultry evening. The high points of the four course table d'hôte meal were chicken croquettes (appetiser course), Melanzane alla Parmigiana (vegetarian main course) and rum baba (dessert course). The meal concluded with a lagniappe of assorted mini sweets such as millionaire’s shortbread, pineapple tart etc.
