Research interests include high-end expertise and knowledge in the domain of Computer Science & Engineering, modeling, designing, and implementation of Intelligent Computing Systems using Machine Learning Models, Pattern Recognition, Data Mining, and Computer Cognition, Artificial Intelligence, Document Image Processing, Neural Networks, Fuzzy Systems, Genetic Algorithms, Character Recognition, Cursive Script Recognition, Image Processing.

Professional Affiliations & Contributions

N.V. Subba Reddy, Prof (Dr.) has worked as professor and Head of the Department, in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, at Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal University, Manipal from September 2001 to September 2007. He was the Associate Director, R & D, at MIT, Manipal from October 2007 to May 2009, the Director, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology from May 2009 to May 2010, and the Vice Chancellor, Mody University (MITS Deemed to be University), Rajasthan with effect from May 2010 to March 2014.

Prof (Dr.) N.V. Subba Reddy’s awards and honors include Special Bharat Jyoti Award 2011 (India International Friendship Society) for excellent contribution to the field of Education, and a plaque of appreciation (Bar Council of India, Government of India) for successfully implementing new initiatives of Bar Council of India Trust, in the University. He is the recipient of Best Paper Award for the session “Intelligent Systems and Tools”, in the 8th World Multi-conference on Systemic, Cybernetics and Informatics, held in Orlando, Florida, USA. He has authored a textbook on “Object Oriented Programming Using C++ and VC++.

Also, He has been honoured as Professor of the Year in Artificial Intelligence

Award in the 8th Venus International Science and Technology Awards – VISTA 2022, held on 2nd July 2022, at Chennai, for the contribution and achievement in the discipline of Engineering and in particular Artificial Intelligence Specialization of Computer Science and Engineering.
