An overview on Peri implant diseases

Dr. Abhiram Maddi, Adjunct faculty of MCODS Mangalore, visited the Department of Periodontology from 5- 7th April 2017. He was the resource person for the Continuing Professional Development Program on “An overview on Peri implant diseases” that was held on 5th April 2017, at Medical Education Hall, Light House Hill Road Mangalore.

Dr. Ullas Kamath, Dean MMMC Manipal was the chief guest for the event.   Dr Dilip G Naik, Dean MCODS Mangalore presided over the function. Dr. Abhiram Maddi spoke on the Etiology and management of peri implant diseases, and stressed on implant maintenance.  The talk was attended by about 100 delegates from college in and around Mangalore. 

Dr Abhiram Maddi interacted with the postgraduates of the department and discussed various cases. He also spoke to the Interns of the Institute on 7th April regarding the scope of dentists in USA.
